EXPLORING CADAQUES

Summer in Cadaqués

Cadaqués  is a charming little village between mountains and the Mediterranean Sea located in the province of Girona, Spain. Its white medieval architecture reflects the first rails of sunlight in the province and has been the refuge for many artists throughout the last centuries. Matisse, Miró, Picasso, Marcel Duchamp, Marx Ernst are some of the artists who appreciated the beautiful summers in the city of Cadaqués. Salvador Dalí believed that Cadaqués was the most beautiful village in the world and lived with his wife Gala at Port Lligat bay for over 30 years.  With a variety of astonishing Calas and delicious restaurants, Cadaqués is the perfect place for an unforgettable summer.

Eyewear Club recommends Cala Guillola, a precious little beach surrounded by nature, for those seeking for peace and quiet,  Cala Sa Conca and its crystal blue water for those seeking a beautiful view, Cala S’Alqueria for the ones looking for an energizing dive in transparent water and Cala Joncols for a beautiful family day memory.

When it comes to good food, Eyewear Club recommends El Talla for an amazing Mediterranean menu with astonishing seaview, Compartir for a sophisticated dinner to share with friends and family, L´Hostal and S’Entina for delicious Mediterranean tapas. If you are looking for sunset drinks we highly recommend Xiringuito de La Mei and Boia Nit, both restaurants with incredible scenarios and excellent drinks. We are counting the days to enjoy summer again!
